Show and Tell for April

At our March in-person sew-in, several people worked on putting the blocks together for our raffle quilt, and it looks great! Linda found some backing fabric that picks up all the colors, Karen has kindly agreed to longarm it, and Carolyn will attach the binding. Well done, all!

Linda showed us the next two Art Deco blocks in our modern Block of the Month. Check your email for the patterns.

Last month’s blocks look great! It will be interesting to see how they develop over the next several months.

Carolyn presented ideas for threadwork, based on the Jane Davila book. Sharon used sashiko on this pillow.

Another piece by Sharon, filled with color and beautiful stitching.

Caroline’s improv nine patch, featuring hand- and machine stitching.

Our show and tell was wonderful, as always! This is Jan’s Blue Jay from the Legit Kits company:

Bev’s Christmas wreath

Karilyn’s minions quilt for Linus

Bev’s Batik sampler

Makenzie’s “Shine” quilt from Suzy Quilts

Karilyn’s Twisted Hexagons with gnome fabric

Karilyn’s Spinney quilt for Linus

Anna’s Judy Niemeyer quilt

Caroline’s Star of Hope quilt by Bonnie Hunter

See you all at our May meeting!
