The challenge is to bring something to the January meeting whether it’s fabric or
an object and it must be used in the challenge. Inspiration was from a book by
Jane Davila. Find her on Facebook at Jane Davila, and on Instagram at @JaneDavila. Here’s a sample of her collage/found objects work, from her Facebook page:

We are looking for ideas for a March challenge, and suggestions for workshops you are interested
in. Comment below, or email us at fredericksburgmodernquiltguild@gmail.com.
We are still selling QuiltCon quilt raffle tickets at our meetings.
Next meeting on Dec 8th at 1pm at the Salem Church Library. If you would like to attend via
Zoom – please let Carolyn know.

Lori’s husband surprised her with this sweet Singer Featherweight!

Linda’s jacket made from “made fabric,” using a pattern she had used quite a while ago!

She also brought this Bigfoot piece made for her daughter’s boyfriend

Our book quilt designed as a gift to the Salem Church Library. Blocks made by members and pieced by Linda. She had enough left over to include some on the back, too. Thanks to Linda for bringing this project to fruition!
